we spent the night on thursday in palo alto, james franco's hometown. it's nothing special but it was nice. then friday we headed to san francisco and it is amazing. drove through the haight, turned down on ashbury. made our way to the castro, the castro theater was playing donnie darko and fight club. we got lost about a hundred times, but it was nice. definitely beats atlanta. of course we crossed the golden gate and bay bridges, went to fisherman's wharf and got some souvenirs. yesss now we're heading back to arizona and gonna stay outside of flagstaff for a while.
did i mention that it was pouring rain the whole time?
